We keep data collection to a minimum. Here is exactly what we gather and why:
- Email address: Collected when you subscribe to our newsletter or purchase a product. Used exclusively for sending you the content you signed up for.
- Analytics data: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site — page views, referral sources, general location (country level). No personally identifiable information is stored in analytics.
- Cookies: Functional cookies for site operation and analytics cookies from Google Analytics. No advertising or tracking cookies from third parties.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to:
- Deliver newsletter content and product updates you opted into
- Process digital product purchases and deliver downloads
- Understand site usage to improve content and user experience
We do not sell your data. Period.
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate The Red Line. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Vercel — hosting and content delivery
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Resend — transactional and newsletter email delivery
- Google Analytics — anonymized site usage analytics
We do not share your personal data with any party beyond these service providers, and only to the extent required to operate the site.
Your Rights
You can at any time:
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email we send
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data from our systems
